xAI has introduced Build Mode, a new feature that lets Grok users create websites, apps, games and interactive dashboards from a simple text description. To begin with Build Mode is available in Early Beta for SuperGrok Heavy subscribers on grok.com, iOS and Android.
Tell Grok what you want, and it writes the code and generates a working preview inside the chat. Refinements happen the same way: ask for a different layout, a new feature, or a full restyle, with no installation or configuration required and no need to touch the underlying code. Once ready, projects can be published to a grok.me link or a custom domain, making them easy to share with a team or the public.
xAI says the tool can produce a wide range of outputs, from landing pages, portfolios and business sites to working apps such as planners and calculators, arcade-style games, and dashboards that pull in live business data through connectors.
Build Mode marks xAI's push into letting non-technical users build and publish working software directly from natural language.
