Wipro Limited told the BSE, NSE and NYSE in a Regulation 30 disclosure dated 1 June 2026 that Wipro IT Services, LLC, a step-down subsidiary, will acquire an additional 20% of Aggne Global Inc., taking its shareholding to 80%.

Cash consideration was stated as US$28.5 million attributable to Aggne Global Inc., subject to customary closing adjustments, with expected completion by 5 June 2026. The filing said no government or regulatory approval was required and that the transaction was not a related-party deal involving promoters. The stated objective was to strengthen Wipro's competitive position in insurance, particularly AI- and IP-led P&C transformations. Aggne Group was described as Aggne Global Inc. plus affiliate Aggne Global IT Services Private Limited, providing IT consulting and managed services for P&C insurers.

Group turnover figures in the filing were US$18.9m for the year ended 31 March 2024, US$24.2m for FY25 and US$27.5m for FY26. The disclosure cross-references Wipro's 15 February 2024 letter on the original 60% acquisition completed 14 February 2024. Financial figures and completion timing are as stated in Wipro's SEBI filing; AI-360 has not independently verified closing.
