Perplexity, the rapidly growing AI-native answer engine, has recently announced the launch of its first B2B offering, Perplexity Enterprise Pro, and the successful completion of a $62.7 million funding round.
Perplexity Enterprise Pro is designed to meet the demand for enterprise-scale AI-powered answer engines. The platform has already been rolled out to select companies across various industries, including Stripe, Zoom, Bridgewater, Snowflake, and more.
Perplexity has also raised an additional $62.7 million, bringing its total valuation to over $1 billion and its fundraising totals to $165 million. The new investment was led by Daniel Gross, with participation from notable investors such as Stanley Druckenmiller, Garry Tan, and Dylan Field, as well as existing investors like Jeff Bezos and NVIDIA.
Perplexity has also formed strategic partnerships with two of the world's largest telecommunications firms, Japan's SoftBank Corp. and Germany's Deutsche Telekom, to market its capabilities to a combined user base of more than 335 million customers across mobile and broadband.
