Fireworks AI announced a US$1.505 billion Series D at a US$17.5 billion valuation and said it had surpassed US$1 billion in annualised revenue, the company said on 15 July 2026.

Inference platforms are raising very large late-stage rounds as enterprises shop for serving cost outside training clusters. Buyers still need workload-specific latency and price benchmarks.

Fireworks AI sells inference and fine-tuning for open models. The Series D post named Atreides Management, Index Ventures and TCV among leads, with Nvidia among participants.

Infrastructure buyers should insist on reproducible serving tests on their models — before treating any Series D ARR headline as a completed inference strategy.
