IPID and Deutsche Bank plan a strategic partnership to deploy payment decision intelligence across the bank’s global payments business, the companies said on 28 September 2026. The scope covers a broad suite of IPID capabilities combining verification, fraud, compliance and optimisation signals before money moves, building on earlier adoption of selected IPID fraud-prevention tools.

Co-founder and chief executive Damien Dugauquier said decision intelligence is “where the industry is heading next, giving banks a live signal on trust and certainty, not just a static check,” and that Deutsche Bank’s adoption is “a strong signal of where global payment infrastructure is going.” Rachel Whelan, APAC and MEA head of corporate cash management and global head of payments and transactional FX product management at Deutsche Bank, said clients should see faster processing, improved fraud detection, more efficient routing and greater payee certainty.

Commercial terms and rollout timelines were not disclosed. Expected client outcomes in the announcement are forward-looking statements from the bank and vendor.

IPID’s site positions the decision layer ahead of settlement so banks can intervene on trust, fraud and compliance signals before funds leave the corridor.
