LSEG Risk Intelligence has launched Active Intelligence, a data engine for World-Check built on Amazon Bedrock with AWS infrastructure support, the company said on 28 September 2026. The engine is meant to enrich World-Check records with secondary identifiers and provenance and to refine screening data continuously for banks, non-bank financial institutions, fintechs and corporates.
World-Check Resolve is the first commercial product powered by Active Intelligence and is available in the World-Check One interface and API. In vendor testing across 650,000 screening cases, LSEG said Resolve suppressed an average of 74% of false positives with no true-positive suppression, while surfacing match rationale. Human oversight remains with the customer for final decisions.
Group head David Wilson and Tanuja Randery of AWS EMEA were quoted on the collaboration. Supporting research among 600 senior risk and compliance leaders found 94% confident in screening data completeness and currency, but only 48% said they could produce a complete audit trail very easily if challenged — figures LSEG cited to frame the product need.
LSEG said Active Intelligence continuously refines screening data rather than relying only on periodic list refreshes, with Resolve as the first customer-facing expression of that engine.
