Anaplan is a Miami-headquartered software company, founded in 2006, that sells a cloud platform for scenario planning and analysis across finance, sales, supply chain and workforce teams. Its calculation engine links operational plans to financial outcomes, so planners can test the effect of a decision before committing to it. More than 2,800 organisations use the platform, including Sky, Virgin Media O2 and NVIDIA. Thoma Bravo took the company private in June 2022 in an all-cash deal valued at about US$10.4bn, and Charlie Gottdiener is chief executive.
How they use AI
Anaplan Intelligence combines predictive, generative and agentic AI on the same governed planning data.
