Alchera said its board decided on 13 May 2026 to raise KRW 4.5 billion through ordinary shares, convertible preferred shares and convertible bonds, according to a company media post dated 15 May 2026.
The financial investor was named as a Tiger Asset Management private investment trust, with new shares subject to a one-year lock-up from the listing date. Proceeds are earmarked for physical AI model-training data infrastructure, data pipeline and data factory work with a humanoid and manufacturing focus. Alchera cited KRW 11.4 billion of cumulative autonomous-driving data revenue over the prior five years as the base for that physical-AI data business and said it is participating as a data supplier in world-foundation-model technology development for robots, with a data factory for high-value humanoid and manufacturing data targeted by end of June — company plan.
CEO Hwang Young-kyu said financial investors accepted the one-year lock-up because they share Alchera's physical AI direction, and that the company will extend autonomous-driving data capabilities into humanoid and manufacturing markets as a growth engine. Funding structure and revenue figures are company statements; AI-360 has not independently verified proceeds use.
