Accenture expanded AI Refinery — built on NVIDIA AI Enterprise — on 18 March 2025 with a no-code AI agent builder for business users and a growing set of industry-specific agent solutions.
The company said it was developing more than 50 industry agents leveraging NVIDIA Llama Nemotron models packaged as NIM, with a goal of more than 100 by year-end. For insurers, an underwriting agent is positioned to automate data retrieval, research, validation and risk assessment; Accenture estimates that as much as 50% of property-and-casualty coverage submissions are left untouched today and says agents can help process 100% of submissions — Accenture estimates, not independently verified by AI-360. For banks, a commercial credit sales intelligence agent automates data extraction, company and credit analysis, compliance checks and risk identification for underwriters.
Lan Guan, chief AI officer at Accenture, said: "Accenture continues to double-down on new innovations like agent builder on our AI Refinery platform to empower organizations and decision-makers with the flexibility to drive business value faster, with agents that can observe the environment, apply reason, continuously improve and take action."
Accenture said the builder works with agents created natively on AI Refinery and with external agents published into the platform, with built-in governance and guardrails. Justin Boitano, vice president of enterprise software at NVIDIA, said Accenture's industry agents expand AI Refinery with NVIDIA so enterprises can deploy digital teammates more rapidly.
