Sinpex has raised €10 million in a Series A led by BlackFin Capital Partners, with ACE Ventures and TX Ventures increasing their commitment, the company said on 19 January 2026. Proceeds are earmarked for growth, deepening its European KYB automation position, and expansion into France and the Netherlands.

The Munich-based platform covers document acquisition, ultimate beneficial owner identification, risk assessment, AML screening, identity verification and ongoing reviews, with AI-driven register and ownership analysis. Sinpex positions the stack for preparedness ahead of the 2027 EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation and related frameworks including AMLD5/6, PSD2/3 and DAC7.

Named customers in the announcement include Otto Payments, EFS Deutschland (Enpal), IKB, Bybit, Scayle Payments and KfW. The release also noted a first-place finish in ID Verification & KYC at the FF Awards London 2025. Chief executive and founder Dr Camillo Werdich said financial institutions face rising client expectations and regulatory demands around AML, KYC and KYB, and that the round accelerates “truly intelligent” automation. Romain Grimal, investment director at BlackFin, said the firm sees Sinpex as a pan-European contender for enterprise-grade regtech.

Sinpex said the raise also strengthens its category position in European KYB automation as banks and payment firms prepare for tighter beneficial-ownership scrutiny.
