Salesforce and Google have announced an expanded strategic partnership integrating Google's Gemini models with Salesforce's Agentforce 360 Platform, enabling hybrid AI reasoning that combines creative AI capabilities with reliable business process automation across enterprise workflows.

The partnership introduces Gemini model integration into Salesforce's Atlas Reasoning Engine, the core technology powering Agentforce, while expanding Salesforce integration across the entire Google Workspace suite beyond Gmail. The collaboration enables customers to deploy AI agents that deliver more accurate and consistent business results through hybrid reasoning capabilities. A new Slack integration with Gemini Enterprise delivers data analysis and agent orchestration directly within Slack's conversational interface through the Real-Time Search API.

According to Silvio Savarese, Chief Scientist at Salesforce, "In the enterprise environment, it's imperative for AI agents to be highly capable and highly consistent, especially for critical use cases. Together, we are setting a new standard for building the future of what's possible in the Agentic Enterprise down to the model level."

The expanded capabilities include large action models with fine-tuned Gemini models that outperform industry-leading LLMs against key CRM benchmarks, enabling more accurate automation of complex, multistep business processes. Both companies support open standards including Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A) for multi-agent collaboration across platforms.

Users can now access Salesforce Customer 360 apps like Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Service from Google Workspace applications. The integration enables automated workflows where website visitors trigger Agentforce Sales to initiate personalized Gmail conversations, qualify leads, and schedule Google Calendar meetings. Sellers can securely access CRM data across Gemini-enabled tools including Sheets, Docs, Drive, Slides, and Meet.

The newly launched Agentforce IT Service solution offers out-of-the-box Google integrations for automating Google Workspace access, managing ChromeOS device security, and analysing IT service trends with Looker.

Organisations gain bidirectional workflows between Gemini Enterprise and Slack, enabling instant insights grounded in current conversational data. The partnership establishes new standards for agent interoperability and hybrid reasoning capabilities essential for mission-critical enterprise use cases.

The integration across Google Workspace and Slack creates comprehensive workflow automation opportunities while maintaining enterprise-grade consistency. Support for open standards ensures long-term platform flexibility and multi-agent orchestration capabilities across specialised domains.
