nettle partnered with 7Analytics to integrate high-resolution flood hazard data into nettle's AI-powered risk assessment platform for commercial insurers, nettle said on 13 October 2025.
The combined offer focuses on inland and flash floods, pairing nettle's underwriting workflows with 7Analytics models trained on real flood claims data and producing 1×1 metre insights across pluvial, fluvial and coastal flood hazards. Stated outcomes include more accurate risk selection and pricing, plus guidance on where insurers and policyholders should invest in prevention before losses materialise. nettle said underwriters and risk engineers can complete desktop assessments and on-site inspections up to five times faster through enrichment, AI evidence analysis and automated survey completion.
Jack Miller, co-founder and chief executive of nettle, authored the announcement. Speed-up claims are nettle's and have not been independently verified by AI-360. The partnership targets commercial insurers' underwriting workflows at the point of risk selection rather than post-claim modelling alone.
