Legora has raised USD 550 million in Series E funding at an USD 8.8 billion post-money valuation, the company said on 21 October 2026. The round was led by Atreides Management, with new and existing long-term investors participating, according to the company's announcement.

Legora said annual recurring revenue has passed USD 200 million and headcount exceeds 1,000. More than half of the Am Law 50 are customers on the firm's figures, and the United States is now its largest market by revenue. Chief executive Max Junestrand said: "Growth only counts if the business underneath it holds up. We have passed $200 million in ARR, and we want every dollar of it to be a durable one. That means healthy gross margins, high retention, and a cost structure that gets stronger as we scale. This round lets us keep building that way"

The legal AI company framed the raise as fuel for durable growth rather than a vanity valuation print, with CFO David Eckstein also featured in the announcement materials. Proceeds are aimed at product and go-to-market expansion as enterprises standardise on AI assistants for legal work.

Legora's Series E puts it among the higher-valued legal technology platforms as law firms and in-house teams scale generative tools beyond pilots.
