Gradient Labs has increased its Series A to $26 million, led by Octopus Ventures and CommerzVentures with follow-on from Redpoint Ventures and Exceptional Capital, the company said on 1 June 2026. The London firm builds specialist AI agents for financial-services customer operations and said its agents already help more than 32 million end users.
Agents in production include Lending, Disputes and KYB, with voice AI claimed in production at scale. Named customers include Wise, Zego, Monzo, Pockit, Current, Stash and Rho. Founders Dimitri Masin, Neal Lathia and Danai Antoniou are Monzo alumni. A prior $13 million Series A led by Redpoint was announced in July 2025.
Gradient Labs said each specialist agent embeds domain guardrails, compliance checks and test scenarios — from FCA Consumer Duty to the EU AI Act — and that the firm guarantees scoped deployments with money-back terms if it does not deliver what was agreed. Those commercial and compliance claims are the company’s.
The firm said agents collaborate with a bank’s existing AI tools in a multi-agent setup and are designed to work across the channels customers already use.
