Condukt has raised $10 million in a seed round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and MMC Ventures, with Cocoa Ventures participating, the company said on 18 November 2025. The London- and Porto-based firm is building an agentic know-your-business platform aimed at always-on oversight rather than periodic checks.

Named customers in the announcement included Wise, Tide, Mollie, Shift4, Flatpay and myPOS. Co-founders Paulo Guichard and Bhasker Rao bring prior experience at SumUp and Square/Block, with engineering roots at Revolut and Meta, the company said.

Guichard said: "Compliance should be a growth enabler, not a bottleneck. Our vision is an agentic onboarding solution that fully automates KYB checks. We designed Condukt as an always-on compliance layer." Rao said regulators are moving toward perpetual KYB and that the cost of meeting those demands with manual processes weighs on balance sheets, making automated monitoring and live open-source insights essential.

Alex Schmitt, partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, said Condukt is redefining compliance with real-time data infrastructure that shifts firms from periodic to perpetual oversight. Ollie Richards, partner at MMC Ventures, said agentic, perpetual KYB represents the future of how financial institutions will manage risk and growth. Use of proceeds was framed as deepening product and partnerships. Cap table detail beyond the named leads and Cocoa Ventures, and priced product SKUs, were not published.
