Cardamon said on 2 October 2026 that Nubank had selected its AI platform to enhance regulatory compliance capabilities. Following a selection earlier in 2026, Cardamon said the platform was deployed across the jurisdictions in which Nubank operated at the time of the October announcement, supporting the bank’s global team of compliance specialists.

The company said the partnership is designed to support those specialists as Nubank expands into new markets and launches new products. Cardamon cited Nu’s own stated figure of more than 140 million customers in Latin America as context for the scale of the compliance workload sitting alongside product growth.

Amanda Hauch F. Silva, a compliance expert at Nubank, said in the announcement that the partnership allows Nubank to enhance regulatory capabilities, streamline complex compliance processes and give teams intelligent tools for faster, more informed decisions as it builds a world-class compliance organisation.

On its announcement page, Cardamon described use cases including working out which rules apply when entering a new market, keeping source references and audit trails attached to mapping work, moving beyond spreadsheet-based obligation tracking, and connecting obligations to policies and controls through gap analysis. Those workflow descriptions are Cardamon’s account of the engagement.

The post did not disclose commercial terms, contract length or say whether Nubank would comment separately on the selection.
