Callsign has formed a strategic partnership with Ooredoo, Qatar’s largest mobile operator, to deliver fraud protection and authentication to organisations across the country, the company said on 29 June 2026.

Callsign’s Digital DNA technology will be made available to Qatari banks, airlines, healthcare providers and government agencies through Ooredoo’s enterprise relationships.

Callsign says account takeover and sophisticated scams are becoming more frequent and harder to detect across the GCC, a trend it links to the rise of agentic AI enabling automated attacks.

Digital DNA uses AI and machine learning, and Callsign says it is designed to evolve as the threat landscape changes.

The system analyses device characteristics, network behaviour and interaction patterns to verify customers passively. Callsign positions it as a replacement for SMS one-time passcodes, which it says are vulnerable to interception and SIM-swap attacks.
