Anthropic has launched a new enterprise AI services company in partnership with Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, and Goldman Sachs to scale deployment of its Claude models. The firm’s core function is to work cooperatively to design, build, and operate Claude-powered systems within mid-sized enterprises, combining Anthropic’s Applied AI engineers with a dedicated engineering team to deliver custom implementations and ongoing operational support.
The initiative is backed by a consortium of alternative asset managers, including General Atlantic, Leonard Green & Partners, Apollo Global Management, GIC, and Sequoia Capital. This capital base positions the company as a delivery layer in the enterprise AI stack, focused on execution rather than model development.
The primary constraint addressed is deployment capacity. While large enterprises rely on global systems integrators within the Claude Partner Network, mid-sized organisations often lack the internal engineering resources required for production-grade AI integration. The new firm extends Anthropic’s infrastructure for applied AI delivery into this segment, targeting sectors including healthcare, regional banking, and manufacturing.
Engagements are structured around embedding engineering teams directly into customer workflows. For example, in healthcare environments, deployments focus on integrating Claude into documentation, coding, and compliance systems, aligning with existing clinical processes rather than replacing them. This approach prioritises operational fit and long-term maintainability over standalone tooling.
Strategically, the company expands Anthropic’s distribution model for Claude by adding a capital-backed services layer that complements its partner ecosystem. It reflects a shift toward vertically integrated deployment infrastructure, where model providers invest directly in implementation capacity to meet enterprise demand at scale.
Krishna Rao, Chief Financial Officer of Anthropic, said: “Enterprise demand for Claude is significantly outpacing any single delivery model. Our partnerships with the world's leading systems integrators are central to how Claude reaches large enterprises. This new firm brings additional operating capability to the ecosystem and capital from leading alternative asset managers. We are proud to build it alongside Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, Goldman Sachs, and our other partners.”
