Beltic has exited stealth with US$8.8 million in total funding to secure transactions initiated by autonomous AI agents, the company said on 30 September 2026. A US$7.3 million seed led by Norwest sits at the centre of that stack, with chief executive Isha Bhatnagar fronting the launch.

The product line, Know Your Agent, is pitched as verification and authorisation for AI agent actions on behalf of businesses — a know-your-customer-like control plane for machine-initiated payments and workflows. Beltic's stealth-exit post frames agent commerce as already arriving in enterprise stacks that lack identity and policy checks designed for non-human actors.

Norwest's lead signals venture appetite for infrastructure beneath agentic applications, not only the agents themselves. Beltic says the capital will go to product and go-to-market as it recruits design partners that need to know which agent is acting, for whom, and under what limits.

Know Your Agent is Beltic's answer to a simple operational question: if software can spend and commit, who authenticates the software before value moves?
