Anthropic has introduced premium seats for Enterprise and Team customers that combine Claude and Claude Code access under unified subscriptions. The offering includes new administrative controls and a Compliance API for programmatic access to usage data and customer content.

Premium seats enable users to move between ideation in Claude conversations and implementation through Claude Code in terminal environments. Admins can assign standard or premium seats based on individual user requirements and organisational roles, with flexible pricing that includes extra usage at standard API rates when teams need additional intelligence.

Altana, an AI-powered Product Network for global supply chain connectivity, achieved measurable development acceleration. "Claude Code and Claude have accelerated Altana's development velocity by 2-10x, transforming how we build sophisticated AI/ML systems that facilitate multi-party collaboration on large-scale knowledge graphs of global supply chains," says Peter Swartz, Co-founder and Chief Science Officer. "We're taking on significantly more ambitious projects as a result."

The platform includes comprehensive administrative capabilities: self-serve seat management through admin panels, granular spend controls at organisation and individual user levels, and usage analytics showing Claude Code metrics including lines of code accepted and suggestion accept rates.

The new Compliance API provides real-time programmatic access to Claude usage data, enabling continuous monitoring and automated policy enforcement systems. Organisations can integrate Claude data into existing compliance dashboards and manage data retention through selective deletion capabilities.

Enterprise customers gain unified development workflows with centralised billing and enterprise-grade administrative controls. The flexible pricing model with usage caps provides predictable costs while scaling AI adoption across development teams for regulatory compliance requirements.
