Alchera said it is expanding supply of its FireScout wildfire detection AI to Australia's WatchTowers Network, according to a company media post dated 28 April 2025.

Eleven WatchTowers cameras were already running FireScout in the Australian Capital Territory, with a plan to expand to 50 by year-end — company-stated. Operations were described in New South Wales and ACT high wildfire-risk areas, with the ACT framed as the Canberra capital region and a large share of protected and national-park land. FireScout analyses CCTV for early smoke detection, alerts operations staff and supports one-click forwarding of fire location and status to a fire-safety reporting centre.

Alchera said the product has been commercialised since 2021 in Australia and California; detection-accuracy marketing claims in the post are vendor-stated and are not restated as independently verified figures here. Camera counts, expansion plans and commercialisation timeline are company statements; AI-360 has not independently verified WatchTowers deployments.
