Alchera said it completed first development of an electric-vehicle fire-detection AI for the domestic indoor market, based on its FireScout wildfire stack commercialised in the United States and Australia since 2021, according to a company media post dated 4 February 2025.

The product uses early smoke detection on existing CCTV rather than thermal cameras that the company said can miss smoke and detect only after ignition. Alchera claimed coverage of up to 30 vehicles per camera versus about three for typical thermal setups. Context cited from Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters underground EV-fire analysis described battery temperature rise and off-gas followed by roughly 40 minutes or more to first ignition, emphasising an early smoke window. Korea EV-fire growth statistics and FireScout training-set marketing claims in the post are company-cited and are not restated here as independently verified figures.

Product availability and camera-coverage claims are vendor statements; AI-360 has not independently verified detection performance in parking environments.
