Akur8 said on 25 March 2025 that French mutual insurance group Covéa — owner of the MAAF, MMA and GMF brands — had adopted its pricing platform to industrialise and harmonise property and casualty (IARD) tariff modelling across the group.
According to the announcement, Covéa’s P&C pricing teams will use Akur8 Pricing modules to refine pure premium construction, assess demand and price sensitivity, and build rate plans that are easier to adjust and ready for deployment. The group framed a single tool across brands as a way to improve synergy, transparency and speed of decision-making among pricing teams.
Michel Matos, Covéa’s director of pricing, statistics and DIARD steering, said in the announcement that a common solution across the group’s IARD perimeter would accelerate processes, simplify implementation and strengthen consistency between pricing teams. Akur8 chief executive Samuel Falmagne said the selection reinforced the firm’s position with major French carriers.
