Airia and Nephos Technologies have announced a strategic partnership to extend enterprise data governance to the AI platforms and agents that consume company data, the companies said on 24 September 2026.

The companies said that while enterprises have data governance programmes, those controls rarely reach the AI layer, leaving gaps in visibility, security and governance as models, agents and applications spread across platforms. The partnership pairs Airia's enterprise AI control plane with Nephos' data and AI governance expertise, covering sanctioned and unsanctioned AI.

Nephos is a data and AI governance enablement business that combines advisory work with hands-on delivery.

“Data governance and AI platform governance are two sides of the same problem, and today most organizations only have visibility into one of them,” said Kevin Kiley, CEO of Airia.

“Organizations need proactive control over the AI platforms themselves and the data flowing through them,” said Lee Biggenden, CCO and co-founder of Nephos Technologies.

The announcement did not give commercial terms.
