Adyen launched Adyen Uplift, an AI-powered payment optimisation suite intended to increase conversion, simplify fraud management and reduce payment cost, the company said on 9 January 2025 from New York.
The suite was piloted by 60 enterprise businesses including Patagonia, On, Indeed, Nord Security and Fubo. Adyen claimed an overall uplift of up to 6% on payment conversion versus legacy implementations, with models trained on more than US$1 trillion of global payments data from its single platform and payments processed for more than one billion consumers. For a retail merchant on Adyen, the company said there is more than a 90% chance Adyen has seen that shopper before — used to speed good shoppers and mitigate fraud.
Named customer results included On citing up to 2% conversion with fraud controlled, and Kes Saulis, head of payments at Nord Security, saying: "We've increased our conversion rate on customer initiated transactions by 10% by leveraging Adyen's AI technology, which optimizes the entire payment funnel while maintaining control over fraud and costs." Carlo Bruno, vice president of product, framed the end of conversion, risk and cost trade-offs via real-time AI optimisation.
Conversion lifts and network-effect figures are company and customer claims and have not been independently verified by AI-360.
