Adyen launched Personalize, a new product inside Adyen Uplift that uses AI to adapt checkout to individual shopper behaviour in real time, the company said on 11 February 2026 from Amsterdam.
Uplift year-one measured outcomes cited for 2025 included more than 6,500 businesses, average conversion up 1.19% versus industry baselines (up to 6% for some), payment costs down 9.4% on eligible traffic and average false positives down 42%. Personalize adds a Dynamic Identification layer that orders payment methods by what a recognised shopper is most likely to use before they click pay, and surfaces cost-effective methods and pre-attempt risk signals. Early Personalize data claimed conversion improvements of up to 6% and transaction-cost reductions of up to 3%; hospitality technology firm Tebi saw a 4.26% cost saving and 0.8% checkout conversion lift.
Carlo Bruno, vice president of product, said: "At checkout, the goal is to minimize friction without increasing risk. Personalize achieves this balance by using Dynamic Identification to recognize shoppers instantly." The product supports reporting, A/B testing and configurable UI components. Metrics are company and named-customer claims and have not been independently verified by AI-360.
