Aavalynx raised £1.5 million (€1.75 million) in pre-seed funding to scale its dispute-intelligence platform Sisu, Tech.eu reported on 4 August 2026. The round was led by Omega Ventures, with participation from West Coast firm Two Ravens and angel investors including senior law-firm partners and a former Amazon European head.
Founded in 2023 by chief executive Hanna Roos — a disputes lawyer whose career includes Freshfields, Latham & Watkins and Quinn Emanuel — Aavalynx said it has been commercially live since 2024. Sisu is an AI-native platform that helps in-house teams, law firms and litigation funders structure, analyse and interrogate dispute data at scale, with tools such as chronology building, document analysis and metadata extraction, and answers cited back to source documents. The company said proceeds will accelerate product development, expand the team and reach more clients globally.
Vodafone is co-developing the platform rather than acting only as a logo customer. City AM reported on 5 August 2026 that the telecoms group is helping shape an AI litigation tool to manage and track disputes and forecast related financial costs, giving enterprise legal leaders a real-time portfolio view. Roos said: "Vodafone helped shape the platform, not just use it. As a co-development partner, Vodafone has given us their vision of innovative Aavalynx product features that serve in-house dispute teams well."
Birgir Ragnarsson, founding partner at Omega Ventures, said Aavalynx is built around managing disputes as a financial risk, not only lawyer productivity. Isaac Kato, founding partner at Two Ravens, cited Roos's disputes expertise and the mix of ranked disputes lawyers and Nordic technology specialists on the team. Aavalynx has also published early ROI figures; those are company claims and have not been independently verified by AI-360.
