Optro, formerly AuditBoard, has launched an expanded set of autonomous agentic products for enterprise risk teams, unveiled at its CRX user conference and detailed in the PR Newswire release of 14 October 2026. The company framed the move as the arrival of "GRC Intelligence": a system of record, agentic AI that acts on that data, and governance over AI running inside the enterprise. Agents are said to operate inside team-defined guardrails, with every action logged, cited and audit-ready.

Capabilities announced include Autonomous Testing beyond SOX into operational audit testing; Agentic Stakeholder Management; Agentic Risk Assessment Scoring; Agentic Compliance; Agentic TPRM; and Agentic AI Governance, with an AI Discovery capability previewing ahead of 2027 availability. Happy Wang, chief product and technology officer, said: "Every risk leader is asking two questions: what are your AI agents standing on, and how are you governing the AI running across your enterprise? We built both into one platform with intention."

Customer colour in the release is attributed to the named firms. Reddit's internal audit team was said to have automated 175 controls — more than 40% of its SOX scope — in the first three months of Autonomous Testing, later expanding agentic testing to more than 75% of SOX controls. Carmen Lam, vice president of internal audit and compliance at Klaviyo, said continuous testing through the year lets her team catch issues earlier. Matt Sewell, head of internal audit at FJ Management, said structured foundations and open integration support agentic workflows with a human-in-the-loop standard.

Optro said more than half of the Fortune 500 use the platform and pointed to a 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader placement for GRC Tools, Assurance Leaders — a company claim referencing the analyst report.
