Nevado AI has launched an AI-native agentic operating platform aimed at insurance and financial services, the company said on 14 January 2026. Founders Sharon Rodriguez (chief executive), David Sullivan (chief operating officer) and Tyler Danielson (chief technology officer) presented the stack as a way to modernise operations without ripping out legacy cores.

Launch commentary said: "The insurance and financial services industries are at an inflection point" The platform emphasises API connections into existing policy, claims and servicing systems, with human oversight retained on consequential actions rather than a fully lights-out replacement of staff.

Nevado's framing — industrialising software delivery with autonomous agents rather than merely speeding a human SDLC — is aimed at carriers stuck between core transformation programmes and AI pilot theatre. Named production customers and SLA metrics were not the centrepiece of the launch release.

Insurers should ask how Nevado scopes agent permissions, audit logs and rollback when an agent writes back to a core policy or claims system.

Figures and customer claims in this piece are those stated by the company or acquirer in the cited materials.
