Insightful Technology launched PRESENCE on 1 July 2026, describing it as a unified mobile communications compliance product for regulated financial and other firms. The London-based company said the application captures channels such as WhatsApp, Telegram and SMS, supports real-time detection and blocking of potentially risky communications, gives employees a single channel interface, and retains evidence for audit and regulatory oversight.
Founder and chief executive Robert Houghton said: "PRESENCE gives businesses a great opportunity to reduce costs, drive efficiencies and consolidate suppliers. Data is everywhere, oversight is not. Most businesses lack visibility into the non-traditional communication channels now used by employees and clients. They can now fill this gap and improve their compliance posture."
Insightful positioned PRESENCE for traditional finance and crypto client-facing staff who need modern messaging under compliance control rather than a patchwork of channel-specific tools. It said market availability is planned for September 2026, with early adopters already integrating channels ahead of general release.
The company, founded in 2014, noted that Bloomberg invested in 2022 and signed a reseller agreement covering FUSION, Soteria and data localisation offerings — context for how PRESENCE sits beside its existing surveillance and archive stack. Insightful did not name the early adopters or publish list pricing in the July launch post.
