Fivecast has introduced Fivecast OPENSCREEN, the company said on 29 September 2026, a due-diligence platform that combines traditional screening data with social media and online footprint intelligence in a single risk report. Target buyers named in the announcement include financial institutions, insurers, due diligence providers and corporate security teams.

OPENSCREEN is described as pulling sanctions and PEP records, employment and education verification, adverse media, behavioural risk detection, online and social intelligence, and threat-network analysis into one report delivered in minutes. Fivecast said the product draws on more than 300 social sources, supports one-, five- or ten-year history windows, and uses Customized Screening Criteria to align reports with specific risk profiles. Generative and agentic AI are framed as accelerating search, identity resolution and summarisation while analysts retain control of critical decisions.

Dr Brenton Cooper, co-founder and chief executive, said: "Traditional screening was built for a more static risk environment, but risk increasingly lives and evolves online. Organizations don't need more data. They need better context and connections to surface the signals that matter." Co-founder and chief operating officer Duane Rivett said national-security agencies already use Fivecast for threat-network analysis and that OPENSCREEN brings similar digital-intelligence capabilities to commercial screening.

Fivecast cited narrowing traditional information sources — including US FinCEN changes to beneficial-ownership reporting under the Corporate Transparency Act — as context for greater reliance on online searches. OPENSCREEN joins ONYX, MATRIX and LUNEX in the suite and is available immediately, the company said.
