CyberArk announced the Secure AI Agents Solution for identity-first discovery, privilege control, threat detection, lifecycle management and governance of AI agents, BusinessWire reported on 10 April 2025.
Identity security vendors are extending privileged access controls from humans and machines to autonomous agents. Buyers still need agent discovery coverage and integration with their existing PAM and IAM programmes.
CyberArk remains the directory brand face; Palo Alto Networks completed its acquisition in February 2026 and the site brand has evolved toward Idira — neither PANW nor Idira is added as a separate directory slug this wave. CEO Matt Cohen warned that basic IAM alone leaves organisations exposed as agents gain privileged access.
CISO teams should demand agent-discovery and least-privilege pilots — before treating any Secure AI Agents launch as a completed agent identity programme.
