Anthropic and Accenture have announced an expanded strategic partnership aimed at accelerating enterprise AI adoption from pilot programs to large-scale deployment. Central to the initiative is the formation of the Accenture Anthropic Business Group, a dedicated practice positioning Anthropic as one of Accenture’s select technology partners. The group will integrate Anthropic’s Claude AI models and Claude Code platform with Accenture’s industry expertise and delivery capabilities to support enterprise clients across multiple sectors.
Approximately 30,000 Accenture professionals will receive training on Claude, creating one of the largest networks of Claude practitioners globally. This includes Accenture’s forward-deployed engineers, who embed AI tools directly into client environments, enabling enterprises to scale AI adoption with reduced implementation risk. The training initiative leverages Accenture’s experience in AI, industry knowledge, and cloud partnerships, combined with Anthropic’s model capabilities and playbooks for regulated industries.
A key component of the partnership is a new joint offering designed to help CIOs measure AI value and drive adoption across software engineering organizations. Claude Code, now holding more than half of the AI coding market, is positioned at the center of the enterprise software lifecycle. The offering combines Claude Code with frameworks for quantifying productivity gains and ROI, AI-first workflow redesign, and change management and training programs. The goal is to accelerate developer output, shorten development cycles, and allow enterprises to bring new products to market faster. Junior developers benefit from producing higher-quality code in less time, while senior developers can focus on architecture, validation, and strategic oversight.
The collaboration also targets regulated industries, including financial services, healthcare, life sciences, and the public sector. In financial services, Claude’s capacity to process complex documents alongside Accenture’s regulatory expertise supports automated compliance workflows and rapid decision-making. In health and life sciences, Claude aids research teams in querying proprietary datasets, generating experimental protocols, and streamlining clinical trial operations. Public sector applications focus on AI agents that help citizens navigate government services while maintaining data privacy and regulatory compliance.
The partnership emphasizes responsible AI deployment. Anthropic’s constitutional AI principles are combined with Accenture’s AI governance frameworks, enabling enterprises to deploy AI with accountability, transparency, and safety. Accenture’s Innovation Hubs will serve as centers for hands-on co-creation, allowing Global 2000 clients to prototype, test, and validate AI solutions in controlled environments before enterprise-wide deployment. A dedicated Claude Center of Excellence within Accenture will further support joint development of AI solutions tailored to enterprise needs, industry requirements, and regulatory contexts.
This expanded collaboration reflects a strategic effort to embed AI across enterprise operations, linking model capabilities, practitioner expertise, and governance frameworks. By combining Claude’s technical capabilities with Accenture’s scale and delivery experience, the partnership aims to move enterprises beyond experimentation to measurable, organization-wide AI impact.
