Cerebras raised a US$1.1 billion Series G at an US$8.1 billion post-money valuation, the company said on 30 September 2025. Fidelity Management & Research Company and Atreides Management led; Tiger Global, Valor, 1789 Capital and existing investors participated. Citigroup and Barclays acted as joint placement agents.
CEO Andrew Feldman said proceeds would fund processor and systems R&D, US manufacturing and data-centre capacity. Cerebras claimed leading inference speed and named 2025 adopters including AWS, Meta, IBM, Mistral and Cognition — customer logos stated by the company.
Wafer-scale systems sit in a different part of the AI stack from GPU clouds, so the round is a bet on specialised inference and training hardware at scale.
Infrastructure buyers should ask about real-world tokens-per-second on their workloads, software stack lock-in, and manufacturing capacity timelines.
