Celonis has expanded its collaboration with Oracle to deploy the Celonis Process Intelligence platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), enabling enterprises to operationalise AI through process intelligence embedded across core business systems. The update also deepens integration with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, positioning process data as a central input into enterprise AI workflows.
The announcement is anchored in an enterprise AI infrastructure lens, focusing on how process intelligence can be integrated directly into cloud-based AI environments to improve execution at scale. By running on OCI, the Celonis platform can feed real-time operational context into AI services, allowing enterprises to move from isolated automation to coordinated, cross-functional workflows.
The integration enables joint customers to analyse and optimise end-to-end processes across finance, supply chain, and other core functions within Oracle environments. This includes identifying automation opportunities, tracking value realisation, and orchestrating workflows across Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, third-party systems, and custom applications running on OCI. It also supports ERP modernisation by using process intelligence to benchmark performance, reduce migration risk, and guide transitions from legacy systems.
Strategically, the collaboration reflects a broader shift toward embedding AI within existing enterprise infrastructure rather than deploying standalone models. OCI provides the underlying compute, scalability, and security required for data-intensive workloads, while Celonis introduces a system-agnostic intelligence layer that structures operational data into actionable inputs for AI systems.
The result is a tighter coupling between cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, and AI execution, aimed at improving reliability, governance, and measurable business outcomes in large-scale AI deployments.
Bastian Nominacher, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Celonis, said: “AI agents are only as effective as the context they operate in—and Celonis Process Intelligence provides that foundation. Expanding our collaboration with Oracle allows customers to scale AI with confidence, grounded in a real-time understanding of their business operations.”
Chris Gandolfo, Executive Vice President of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and AI, said: “Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is designed to run demanding AI and enterprise workloads with high performance and reliability. Together with Celonis, we are helping customers gain deeper process insights and accelerate modernization initiatives on a secure, scalable cloud platform.”
