AutoRek has launched AutoRek ARIA, a multi-skilled intelligent AI agent for reconciliation operations, the company said in a 9 September 2025 newsroom announcement. Built within the AutoRek platform on Microsoft Azure, ARIA is framed as a shift from rules-based automation to agentic reconciliation that analyses, learns, optimises and extends processes alongside users.
Named capabilities include dynamic learning of matching patterns, intelligent exception management with supervised resolution, real-time coworking guidance, and assisted solution development for new automated reconciliations. AutoRek cited its 2025 industry research that 79% of asset-management and capital-markets firms struggle with current data volumes and that daily transaction volumes are expected to surge 39% annually — figures attributed to AutoRek.
Chief executive Chris Livesey said: "The surge in transaction volumes and data hasn't just created a gap in what the human professional can handle—it's a chasm." Jim Sadler, chief product, technology and operations officer, said ARIA agents go beyond basic automation to provide reasoning, coworking and decisioning capabilities toward "agent-operated enterprises" in financial services.
Use cases named span capital markets under T+1 pressures, payments operations including FCA safeguarding themes, and insurance settlement data flows. ARIA was available at launch as an add-on to AutoRek v6.18 and AutoRek Mion v1.2.
