AI21 Labs made Maestro generally available to enterprise customers, the company said on 8 July 2025. The release positions Maestro as an agentic system for data-intensive knowledge work such as compliance review, research and RFP responses.
Maestro is designed to plan tasks dynamically, select tools and models, and validate intermediate steps with execution graphs and confidence checks. AI21 contrasts that approach with brittle hard-coded agents and unguarded LLM runtimes.
The GA builds on an earlier 2025 Maestro introduction and on the company's Jamba hybrid SSM-transformer model line, which enterprises can deploy privately when security and reliability matter.
Buyers evaluating Maestro should ask how execution graphs are audited, which models can be pinned for regulated workloads, and how outputs are traced back to retrieved enterprise data.
