# Sumsub launches Workforce Verification to bring biometric checks into IAM and HR systems

[Sumsub](https://sumsub.com/?ref=ai-360.online) has launched Workforce Verification, which embeds identity document checks, biometric liveness and background screening into enterprise IAM and HR platforms across the employee lifecycle, [the company said on 15 September 2026](https://sumsub.com/newsroom/sumsub-launches-workforce-verification-to-secure-enterprise-systems/?ref=ai-360.online).

After verifying a new hire’s government ID at onboarding, the service runs a step-up check combining biometric liveness and passive risk signals when an IAM system flags a high-risk event, such as a password reset, privilege escalation or suspicious login, before access is granted. [Sumsub](https://www.ai-360.online/sumsub/) said it replaces security questions in account recovery with live biometric checks.

“IAM systems manage access, but a valid credential only proves possession, not identity,” said Andrew Novoselsky, Chief Product Officer at Sumsub.

Sumsub claims up to 99.98% deepfake detection efficiency and said the service draws on a fraud prevention network of over 1.5 billion enriched identities. It cited Gartner research naming help-desk account recovery as the main driver of enterprise interest in workforce verification.
