# xAI launches Grok Voice Voice 1.0 voice model

[xAI](https://x.ai/?ref=ai-360.online) has launched Grok Voice 1.0, a voice model it describes as built for complex, multi-step workflows in customer support, sales and enterprise applications, [the company said on 23 April 2026](https://x.ai/news/grok-voice-think-fast-1?ref=ai-360.online).

xAI said the model was developed in collaboration with partners including Starlink, and is designed for high-volume tool calling and precise data entry, such as collecting email addresses, street addresses, phone numbers and account numbers.

The company said the model handles telephony audio, background noise, heavy accents and interruptions, and natively supports more than 25 languages. Example uses include customer support, phone sales, appointment booking and restaurant reservations.

xAI said the model takes the top spot on the τ-voice Bench leaderboard, which evaluates full-duplex voice agents under realistic conditions.
