# DigiCOOP partners with ADVANCE.AI to onboard 1.3m cooperative members

DigiCOOP, described as the largest online platform for Philippine cooperatives and labour unions, partnered with [ADVANCE.AI](https://advance.ai/?ref=ai-360.online) for digital identity verification powering digital and financial services, ADVANCE.AI [said on 28 March 2023](https://advance.ai/news/digicoop-partners-with-advance-ai-to-boost-digital-and-financial-inclusion-in-the-philippines/?ref=ai-360.online) from Manila.

Scale on the release included 1.3 million labour-union workers and farmers, 12 federations, more than 100 cooperatives and more than 400 brick-and-mortar co-op branches integrated into a web channel. Platform services include loan application, credit scoring, digital banking, insurance and investment, bill and online payments and e-learning. ADVANCE.AI remote onboarding was described as scanning Philippine passport, UMID, SSS or TIN documents and matching to a phone selfie, completable in under 60 seconds, plus fraud, risk and alternative credit scoring.

Ann Cuisia, chief executive of TraXion Tech and DigiCOOP founder, said the partnership supports enabling unbanked and underserved Filipino segments to build wealth, with a goal to lift banked Filipino families from 20% to at least 50% within five years. ADVANCE.AI cited more than 700 enterprise clients and SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Warburg Pincus, Northstar and EDBI among parent-group backers.
