- Description: Two planned acquisitions and new Falcon Guardian controls outline an end-to-end AI trust stack, but availability dates and vendor performance claims require careful separation.

CrowdStrike has set out [an unusually broad AI-agent security strategy](https://www.crowdstrike.com/en-us/press-releases/crowdstrike-delivers-ai-security-safety-for-the-enterprise/?ref=ai-360.online), combining new Falcon Guardian controls with planned acquisitions of Fiddler AI and Dreadnode. Guardian adds an AI kill switch, a generally available gateway, agent-level hooks and supply-chain checks for malicious skills and Model Context Protocol servers. CrowdStrike says network inspection for Windows is available, while Mac support and further identity and cloud controls remain earlier in rollout.

Fiddler is intended to add pre-deployment evaluation, production traceability and behavioural accountability. Dreadnode would add automated tests across models, applications, agent reasoning loops and MCP servers, including jailbreak and prompt-injection techniques. Both transactions are subject to closing conditions. CrowdStrike says the resulting Fiddler-based Falcon Observe and Dreadnode testing capabilities are planned for general availability in the fourth quarter of its 2027 financial year.

The architecture is compelling because it connects release testing, runtime intervention and post-event explanation. It also risks collapsing several different assurance questions into one vendor control plane. Buyers should ask which evidence is independently verifiable, whether a kill switch works when an agent uses local models or unmonitored tools, and how policy recommendations move from tests into production. Claims such as a 98 per cent reduction in evaluation cost are vendor claims and need independent validation.

[AI for Leaders: Governance, Risk & Why Strategy Must Come FirstIs your organisation adopting AI without a defined strategy or governance? If so, you're not alone — and the consequences range from data breaches to reputational damage to safeguarding failures. AI is a strategic risk, not a silver bullet, and definitely not a magic data fairy. Without clear ownership, rules, and accountability, AI can proliferate across your organisation in ways that cost more — in time, money, and trust — than not using it at all. Speakers: Craig Clark, Director at Clark & Company Information Governance Services, and Stewart Tinson, Project Director, AI-360\. You'll learn: Why "understand your why" must precede any AI rollout Which risks senior leaders most commonly overlook — from data leakage to safeguarding How to measure AI value through outcomes, not adoption metrics Why accountability for AI governance sits with the C-suite, not IT or compliance Key topics: AI strategy • Risk appetite • Data protection • Bias & fairness • Safeguarding • AI literacy • Governance models • Return on investment • Executive accountability • AI use case tiering For CISOs, CIOs, and senior leaders who need to govern AI responsibly — before it governs them.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/b5/36/b536821c-5870-4f52-b9ef-106719725971/content/images/icon/favicon-bf01f409-c686-4f3c-a141-d6730e84ef0e.ico)BrightTALK![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/b5/36/b536821c-5870-4f52-b9ef-106719725971/content/images/thumbnail/image_1090002-bd4838f9-f57a-4e4b-8812-7a0b443cc719.png)](https://www.brighttalk.com/webcast/21039/663360?ref=ai-360.online)
