[Bloomberg](https://www.bloomberg.com/?ref=ai-360.online) has introduced ASKB, a beta conversational agentic AI interface for the Bloomberg Terminal that lets users ask research questions in natural language across Bloomberg data, news, documents and analytics. Announced on 23 February 2026, ASKB runs parallel AI agents over company filings, Bloomberg News, sell-side research from more than 800 providers, and Bloomberg Intelligence, BloombergNEF and Bloomberg Economics content. Responses include source attribution; when analysis involves data pulls, ASKB can surface Bloomberg Query Language (BQL) for Excel or BQuant. Workflows let users save multi-step templates such as pre-earnings prep. CTO Shawn Edwards said early beta clients report faster discovery and actionable insights. Access is via Bloomberg Anywhere, including the Professional mobile apps.

Firms piloting ASKB should validate hallucination controls and citation quality, clarify which commercial and open-weight models Bloomberg uses under its Responsible AI principles, and map Workflow Library sharing to internal compliance. Confirm beta eligibility and any later general-availability timeline before redesigning desk research processes around the interface.
