[Bering Lab](https://beringlab.com/?ref=ai-360.online) was selected for the AI Accelerate Winter Cohort 2026 run by BLOCK71 Singapore and Microsoft, with support from Enterprise Singapore and Digital Industry Singapore, [according to a Business Wire release dated 1 June 2026](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260601017866/en/Bering-Lab-Joins-BLOCK71-and-Microsoft-AI-Accelerate-Cohort-to-Expand-Multilingual-Document-Intelligence-across-Southeast-Asia?ref=ai-360.online).

The 10-week growth programme offers Microsoft cloud and mentorship, BLOCK71’s corporate and investor network, and a potential Startup SG Tech grant path. Bering Lab positioned flagship BeringAI as domain-specialised multilingual document intelligence for regulated industries and said it had more than 240 institutional clients across legal, IP, finance, life sciences and defence.

The company said it has entities in Singapore and Hong Kong. Co-founder and co-CEO Jae Yoon Kim was quoted on ASEAN cross-border legal, financial and compliance document volumes. The release named SoftBank Ventures and Naver among backers.
