[Behavox](https://www.behavox.com/?ref=ai-360.online) has raised $175 million in preferred equity from funds and accounts managed by HPS Investment Partners, part of BlackRock, the company [said on 17 June 2026](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260617531116/en/Behavox-Raises-%24175-Million-from-HPS-Investment-Partners-Part-of-BlackRock-to-Accelerate-Global-Growth?ref=ai-360.online). It said the completed investment would accelerate global growth, expand its Unified Controls Platform and support further acquisitions. Founder and chief executive Erkin Adylov said HPS brings scale and a long-term perspective to help Behavox reach more institutions in more markets.

As part of the same transaction, Behavox said it fully repaid and retired its $70 million Hercules Capital venture-debt facility. That facility, secured in autumn 2024, had supported the Mosaic Smart Data acquisition and a strategic interest in b-next, moves Behavox said accelerated its push into trade surveillance. Ruslan Sergeyev, managing director at Hercules Capital, congratulated Behavox and HPS on the deal in the announcement.

Behavox said this was its first equity financing since SoftBank’s $100 million investment in 2020, and that HPS joins SoftBank, Citigroup, Index Ventures and Hoxton Ventures on its capitalisation table. Freshfields, counsel to Behavox, said SoftBank Investment Advisers is undertaking a partial sale and will retain a minority position. Behavox said it has been profitable since 2023 and grew sevenfold since the SoftBank round, with SoftBank Investment Advisers in the UK and SoftBank Corporation in Japan among its customers.

Proceeds will also fund continued investment in Polaris, Behavox’s trade surveillance product, which the company said can run alone or with Quantum communications surveillance under one case workflow. Ardea Partners advised Behavox; Freshfields’ London team led by Rhys Evans acted as legal counsel. Valuation terms beyond the preferred equity amount were not disclosed.
