[Anaplan](https://www.anaplan.com/?ref=ai-360.online) said Anaplan Forecaster launched on 20 October 2025, according to product detail in the company's [9 December 2025 role-based agents release](https://www.anaplan.com/news/anaplan-introduces-new-suite-role-based-ai-agents/?ref=ai-360.online) that documents the earlier ship date.

Forecaster is positioned as an AI-native forecasting solution purpose-built for business users, with no data-science expertise required. It is the successor to PlanIQ time-series forecasting and delivers expanded ML algorithms and improved explainability. The product generates more granular and precise forecasts that feed directly into Anaplan models. It sits in the same AI innovation wave as the Syrup Tech acquisition for retail neural forecasting and the CoModeler and role-based agents suite under Anaplan Intelligence.

Adam Thier, chief product and technology officer at Anaplan, said: "With over a decade of expertise designing, building and deploying millions of models based on proven planning best practices, Anaplan is uniquely able to deliver predictive, generative, and agentic AI that drives decision excellence across the enterprise." Launch date, PlanIQ succession and capability framing are as stated in Anaplan's December suite release; AI-360 has not independently verified forecast accuracy. The piece is a dated product ship card complementary to the December role-based agents announcement rather than a duplicate of CoModeler GA.
