[Alation](https://www.alation.com/?ref=ai-360.online) has announced six new AIOS components to govern data, context and AI agents across enterprise systems, including agent lineage tracing in its AI Governance product, [the company said on 17 September 2026](https://www.alation.com/news-and-press/alation-launches-aios-tm-expansion-with-six-products-that-accelerate-ai-transformation/?ref=ai-360.online).

AI Governance now traces agent lineage, linking each AI agent's regulatory risk to the live data it consumes. Six native connectors feed a cross-platform registry: Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, [Databricks](https://www.ai-360.online/databricks/) MLflow, [Microsoft](https://www.ai-360.online/microsoft/) Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry and [Snowflake](https://www.ai-360.online/snowflake/) Cortex.

The other five are Ontologies, governed machine-readable models of business processes for agents; Governed Collections, which turns documents from Confluence, SharePoint and S3 into governed context; Intelligent Feeds; Console, a natural-language interface across AIOS; and Semantic Model Mastering, which syncs governed definitions back to Databricks and Snowflake.

Alation cited Grant Thornton's 2026 AI Impact Survey of 950 C-suite leaders, in which 78% lacked strong confidence they could pass an independent AI governance audit within 90 days.

“Getting AI right isn’t a capabilities problem; it’s a systems problem,” said Satyen Sangani, CEO and co-founder of Alation.

The products were announced at revAlation, the company's annual user conference.
