[Airia](https://airia.com/?ref=ai-360.online) [said](https://airia.com/blog/airia-makes-real-time-policy-enforcement-for-claude-generally-available/?ref=ai-360.online) real-time policy enforcement via Claude inference hooks is generally available across Claude Enterprise, according to an Atlanta-dated company announcement on 29 September 2026 after early access from August 2026.

Covered surfaces include Claude chat, Claude Code and Claude Cowork under a single organisation-level configuration. When a user submits a prompt or Claude receives tool, MCP, skill or plugin results, Airia evaluates the traffic against organisation policies before Claude processes it, allowing or denying in real time so violations can be blocked before reaching the model. Compliance API coverage was expanded to Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Claude for Microsoft 365 add-ins and Claude Science. Airia said the same governance can unify with other models and agents for sensitive data exposure, prompt injection, risky agent behaviour and acceptable-use violations, and can trigger automated runbooks such as security alerts, tickets and escalations.

Kevin Kiley, CEO, said: "AI governance has to operate at the speed and scale of the technology it governs. We were early to support Claude's Compliance API and moved quickly to bring inference hooks to customers. Now, organizations can enforce their policies inline across Claude Enterprise before a violation occurs." Capability claims are company statements; AI-360 has not independently verified enforcement latency or coverage.
