# AI Rudder raises US$50m Series B with Tiger Global and Coatue

[AI Rudder](https://airudder.com/?ref=ai-360.online) raised US$50 million in Series B funding and said it had raised about US$60 million in the prior 12 months, [according to a Singapore-dated company news post on 8 March 2022](https://airudder.com/news/ai-rudder-raises-us50-million-in-series-b-funding-to-propel-growth-and-international-expansion/?ref=ai-360.online).

New investors included Tiger Global, Coatue, Cathay Innovation, First Plus and VenturesLab, with prior backers Sequoia Capital India and Huashan Capital participating. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Singapore, AI Rudder positioned its voice AI for B2C use in banking, fintech, insurance and e-commerce, with support for more than 15 languages including English, Bahasa, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai and Vietnamese. Traction and revenue metrics stated at announcement are 2022-vintage and are not restated here as current figures.

Kun Wu, co-founder and managing director, said: "Advancements in machine and deep learning technologies are opening new possibilities for Voice AI to be more human-like. This fresh infusion of capital will support continuous enhancements to our suite of products, enabling our clients to deliver more frictionless digital experiences to their customers."
