[IBM](https://www.ibm.com/?ref=ai-360.online) has added Regulatory Horizon Scanning to watsonx.governance, using an integration with [CUBE](https://www.ai-360.online/cube/)'s regulatory intelligence platform to monitor AI regulation and map changes to governance workflows, [the company said on 16 September 2026](https://www.ibm.com/new/announcements/accelerate-ai-compliance-with-regulatory-horizon-scanning?ref=ai-360.online).

Updates from regulators, legislative bodies, standards organisations and industry associations are captured automatically and made available inside watsonx.governance. Teams can map developments to governance use cases, identify affected AI systems and keep a traceable link between requirements and governance work.

When a significant change occurs, teams can start assessments, assign actions, document decisions and keep an auditable record of how it was evaluated and addressed.

“Regulatory intelligence is no longer a standalone discipline—it’s becoming a foundational layer of how AI itself is governed,” said Ben Richmond, founder and CEO of CUBE.

[IBM](https://www.ai-360.online/ibm/) did not give pricing in the announcement.
